From: Aleksey Cheusov <cheusov%tut.by@localhost> Some time ago somebody suggested very good idea to set NO_BIN_ON_CDROM and NO_BIN_ON_FTP inside mk/ based on LICENSE set in package's Makefile. No, because it basically isn't very useful. There are free licenses, which don't have to set anything (by definition), and then there are a vast number of non-free licenses which are used for typically 1 or two packages each. So the benefit would only be for non-free licenses that are used by more than one package, and the cost would be 100 or so extra .mk files. Also, this is even harder because the notion that a package has a single license is not really accurate. We actually do this already for djbware-nonlicense via djbware.mk, but that's because we have the file already.
