I assume you mean poppler and poppler-glib; I don't have any other
poppler-related packages installed on my system. Setting PAPERSIZE
turns out to make no difference whatsoever. The string PAPERSIZE
doesn't occur anywhere in a fully-built poppler-glib tree. It does
occur in print/poppler/Makefile, where it sets an option -- but when I
build it, every file comes out identical except for file timestamps and
the like -- I built it twice, once with A4 and once with Letter, and
there were no differences. Perhaps PAPERSIZE did once affect that
package; it doesn't seem to now, so the code should probably be removed
from the Makefile.
