GCC 3.x has a bug on Solaris/x86. It results in a libcrypto that
segfaults. Run this script

http://www.openssl.org/%7Eappro/values.c

It will create three object files that are automagically put in the
right directory form which GCC will pick them up. Rebuild libcrypto,
and everything should be fine.
