devel/nsis won't build (scons/python problem?)

As you can see, the CFLAGS have excess spaces in. nsis uses scons as a
build tool. In turn scons is python-based.
-current pkgsrc has scons-1.1.0nb3 and nsis-2.12nb5 and wishes to use
python26. I've previously happily built scons-1.1.0nb2 and nsis-2.12nb5
back when python25 was current, so I wonder if this is a python
(internationalisation?) problem at its core.
