lang/python26/dist.mk says:

So I'd say, yes, I'm sure.
I made clean and retested meanwhile to ensure that I didn't oversee a
stale work directory.
No change.
Probably it's important to say that I'm using "ABI=64" and
"PKG_DEVELOPER=yes" as modifications in mk.conf.
