Re: [PATCH] fonts/adobe-cidfonts and fonts/ghostscrit-cidfonts
Hi,
Related package to this topic
(a) wip/ghostscript (8.71 -> 9.00)
(b) wip/ghostscript-cidfonts-ryumin (new, 9.00)
(c) wip/ghostscript-cidfonts 20000901nb3 (nb2 -> nb3)
fonts/adobe-cidfonts-20000901 (not changed)
fonts/ipafont-00302 (not changed)
(a)
I have imported ghostscript-9.00 to wip (2011/01/26)
As is written in commit log, it has two changes overs 8.71.
+ ------------------
| date: 2011/01/26 08:24:17; author: makoto; state: Exp; lines: +0 -0
| Import ghostscript-9.00 as wip/ghostscript.
| This is (almost minimum) upgrade from 8.71nb7 and two changes included:
| (1) options.mk has option: disable-compile-inits (PR/44400)
| (2) patche-be is added to suppress noisy warning for __func__ duplicate def.
+ ------------------
Also cidfmap is being renamed to cidfmap.dist at installation.
(b)
Another package print/ghostscript-cidfonts-ryumin is being
imported (to wip).
This is kind of optional to ghostscript and it enables
ghostscript to interpret Japanese frequently-used fonts in
PostScript file. They are Ryumin and BBGhothic with variation
of those.
This package has option to select which fonts to be enabled
with above. Currently two are set for now. One is ipa ttf,
TrueType Font, and the other is adobe-cidfonts. The former is
default for now. Mixture of those may be installed. But current
logic is too primitive to work sophisticated way.
(c)
With related above, GS_RESOURCEDIR problem I was saying before on
ghostscript-cidfonts.
The original intent of my own to find the ghostscript version for
GS_RESOURCEDIR was with use the output of `gs -v`. But it doesn't
seem to work if gs is not installed.
Ghostscript-cidfonts depends gs, but we need the version number
before it is installed. So I will have
ghostscipt/Makefile.common
to set the ghostscript version manually.
The changes to wip, say above (b) and (c) are not done
yet. They are on the way.
