This is now badly broken, at least on my system...

I can provide the whole log if you would like, but here is where it 
begins to break:

checking for prototype int seekdir(DIR *dir, long ofs)... no
checking for replacing readdir using getdirentries()... failure: readdir [
Failed for match .. - 20 = Not a directory
]

Failed for unlink - 1 = Operation not permitted
]
failure: readdir [
Failed for unlink - 1 = Operation not permitted
]
failure: readdir [

At this point it appears to go into an infinite loop...


FWIW, I can successfully install net/samba35 but that package looks 
somewhat incomplete, since it is missing several files which I would 
expect to find:

        DESCR
        MESSAGE
        buildlink3.mk
        options.mk
