Yeah actually 0.5.x is available in pkgsrc current, 2011Q3 still has
0.4 series. Simply cd to pkgtools/pkgin and cvs up -dP -rHEAD

Regarding the 5.1/5.0-2011Q3 symlink on NetBSD's repo, the replies you've 
got on the list are accurate.

Any chance you could upgrade to pkgin 0.5 ? I revamped big chunks of
