I would support this idea just because I worry that I'll install
something where a dependency adds a rc script and the note about it
will be lost somewhere in 2000 lines of package building and
installation.

New DragonFly users asking about where the rc scripts went for pkgsrc
is a slowly re-occurring theme on IRC.
