pkgsrc issue with lib / lib64

Hello,
i'm having issues with pkgsrc, hope you can help me to find out what i
did wrong.
Below the details

Linux Suse SLED11 with a previous (working) installation of pkgsrc-2012Q1
kernel 3.0.34-0.7-default #1 SMP Tue Jun 19 09:56:30 UTC 2012
(fbfc70c) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

In order to pass to Q2
i removed completely the content of /usr/pkg/ , /usr/pkgsrc/ and /var/db/pkg/

then i downloaded q2 tarball, extracted and ran the bootstrap script.

what's happening now for all software is that when i do bmake

libraries are written inside /work/.destdir/usr/pkg/lib64/

but when i do bmake install

it's searching inside /work/.destdir/usr/pkg/lib/ instead
