Hiya everybody,
As you may have noticed, CDE has been open sourced recently. I was wondering
if anybody is working on getting it into PKGSRC. I wouldn't mind pouring some
time in it, because I used it years and years ago and actually quite liked
it.

Yes!
I am using NPF on NetBSD6 and would be an early tester of CDE if it goes
to pkgsrc.
NPF is still developing, but I have learned my workarounds to make it test
well against nmap and the like.
As far as Oracle Solaris 11/11/11- it seems to have dropped lots of
drivers for amd64. I run it headless for now, where graphics were fine
with OpenSolaris. I have noticed quite a migration from OpenOffice to
LibreOffice as well.
Best wishes on this project and also putting it into pkgsrc.
Sincerely,
Darrel
