Re: Packet filter for netBSD 4.0
Title: Re: Packet filter for netBSD 4.0
Thanks everybody for being helpful. I really appreciate it.
I am trying to find sample entries for pf.conf to combat the ics.org ANY attack. But all google examples seems to be based on IPTABLES.
Is PF suitable for this application?

Hi,
`iptables' is for Linux, so even if it is in pkgsrc, it will be marked as
`ONLY_FOR_LINUX', so it will not help you.

Hi there,
I am looking for a packet filter for netbsd 4.0 that can help with the isc.org <http://isc.org>
ANY attack.
The latest package tree does not have “wip/iptables” in it and I am having
trouble locating it on ftp.netbsd.org <http://ftp.netbsd.org> . I am thinking from reading that ipf
does not have that functionality of limiting requests in a certain amount of
time.
What do some of you use? Or where do I find iptables?
Thanks (again),
Frank
