Yes, but I tend to think of those coming as a team from the base distribution. Binutils packaged together with gcc < 4.2.x apparently happen to not support SSSE3, too. I just piggy-backed on the existing test for gcc for SSE2. Should that also be rephrased as a binutils version check? Should pkgsrc install it's own binutils as dependency?
