Problems with memtestplus-5.01nb1
Recently built the memtestplus package from source, and tried to run it,
but unsuccessfully.
At the NetBSD boot prompt I booted the image, and it started to test the
memory. It displayed two messages on the screen, one that says "Use F1
for FailSafe mode" and one that says "Use F2 to force Multi-Threading
(SMP)". (Both messages are paraphrased, due to limited time to copy it
by hand!)
If I do nothing, the test just exits and reboots after a few (five or
ten) seconds.
If I press F1 it reboots immediately.
If I press F2 it displays a message "Unexpected interrupt - Halting
CPU1". None of the numbers (test info, progress, etc.) changes from
this point on, however I can use 'c' to get the configuration menu, or
'\e' to escape/exit. But nothing I do seems to make it continue with
testing.
This is on a Intel Core i5-4460 using internal graphics, and with two
4GB PC3-10666 standard DIMMs (8 GB total).
Has anyone else used this package lately?
