No particular reason, just that I had done it the same way with the previous package. My actual starting point was with a patch that used a hardcoded /usr/X11R7/lib string. I have installed the whole set of combined packages now on my laptop, and unfortunately calibre doesn't work. It looks like this: vargaz:~$ calibre WARNING: Failed to unpickle stored config object, ignoring load: 0.20 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 10% 103088k load: 0.20 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 9% 103088k load: 0.18 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 8% 103088k load: 0.18 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 7% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 6% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 6% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 6% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 5% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 5% 103088k load: 0.17 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 5% 103088k load: 0.15 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 4% 103088k load: 0.15 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 4% 103088k load: 0.15 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 4% 103088k load: 0.15 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 4% 103088k load: 0.21 cmd: python2.7 7732 [iowait select parked] 3.00u 0.13s 0% 103124k ...long wait... Segmentation fault (core dumped) and no visible window opens at any time. ebook-viewer behaves the same (which is the program I usually want). The WARNING is presumably because of those missing appdata xml-files. > Joerg -Olaf. -- ___ Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert -- The Doctor: No, 'eureka' is Greek for \X/ rhialto/at/xs4all.nl -- 'this bath is too hot.'
