Did you update to the latest Xcode or CLI tools by chance? If so, perhaps if you downgrade to the original CLI for Yosemite and try to build again, then you *might* be successful.

I was having problems build Tin (pcre dependency failed; tried several options but still no go.) Until... 

I downgraded to the original CLI tools for Yosemite and tried to build Tin and its dependencies again. Building took place without issue.

Perhaps a downgrade might also help in your case.
