extract a package with gtar rather than bsdtar

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to build a package that needs GNU tar to extract because
it fails with bsdtar (the default on OS X).

I have tried to add "tar" or "tar:extract" to the USE_TOOLS variable,
but that doesn't work.

Is it possible to make pkgsrc use gtar for a particular package?
