Unfortunately I do not have the disk space required to host the entire
work directories. I could possibly patch pbulk to keep only files named
*.log, like config.log and CMakeOutput.log.

This one I could reproduce. -L/usr/pkg/lib is missing on the link
command line. Maybe you have builtin ncurses.
