omxplayer on Raspberry Pi 2 on NetBSD 7 - anyone succeeded in building

I get several g++ internal compiler errors when building omxplayer on
Raspberry Pi 2.

uname -a
NetBSD pinetbsd 7.0_STABLE NetBSD 7.0_STABLE (RPI2.201510250040Z) evbarm


Has anyone got it build successfully?

Do I need to upgrade gcc?

gcc.compile.c++
bin.v2/libs/graph/build/gcc-4.8.4/release/pch-off/threading-multi/graphml.o
g++: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1plus)
no stack trace because unwind library not available
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
