Pardon me if I think this sounds extremely lame. I guess it's a volunteer
project and they can do or not do as they please.
I'll be smiling in a few years when the cool kids come out with
the-next-cool-kid-language and Python ends up in the same situation as
Smalltalk, Perl, TCL, and zillion other scripting languages of yore. They
were all "hot" at some point. Read into that whatever you like.
It's frustrating when folks won't fix bugs just because it's specific to
my pet OS's, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that BSD will still be
going strong when the kids smokin' behind the gym are wondering why anyone
*ever* wrote code in Python instead of Language-XYZ of the day.
