this is due to the way pax builds base.tgz On my system (FreeBSD 64) version 10.3 there is NO user "named" in its place, (uid=14)) there is "ftp" so when the build.sh creates base.tgz it looks for the user uid=14, and finds ... ftp (or whatever there is on uid 14, gid 14) so it builds the base.tgz file specification with uname=ftp gname=ftp that does not exists in the NetBSD so it fails SOLUTION: create a user in the host (that generates the netbsd build) a user named with group named both set to 14 Than the system builds and works OK |
