I didn't know that! Old packages and outdated distfiles can pile up and waste space.
I guess the real package database is in /var/db/pkg ?
Now I am running pkg_chk -u -s on that computer, and making progress with seom stops.
Maybe I didn't need to delete modular Xorg, but I would need to rebuild it anyway as well as all desired X applications.
