PLIST conflict problems with devel/py-glib2-tools update

Building on NetBSD_7_Stable amd64

devel/py-glib2-tools depends on devel/glib2-tools

glib2-tools/PLIST:

bin/glib-mkenums

py-glib2-tools/PLIST:

bin/glib-mkenums
share/glib-2.0/codegen/__init__.py
[more share/... entries deleted]

The py-glib2-tools package builds fine without errors.
"make update" of py-glib2-tools fails with:
[top of build messages w/no warnings deleted - will provide if germane]

am I doing something wrong? should this work?

I tried rebuilding the packages DB as some other threads had suggested it
would help for PLIST conflict error (pkg_admin rebuild)... this made no
difference...

Any guidance?
