kile with and without kate

Hi, Friends.

I can see that we can build successfully editors/kile without editors/kate. But kile doesn't work properly 
without kate, printint when opened the following message:

"No editor component found. Please check your KDE installation"

After installing kate, kile works fine. Shouldn't kate 
be inserted as a dependency in kile's Makefile?

All mentioned above happening under the conditions below:

pkgsrc-current
NetBSD-current 8.99.9
amd64
