Re: graphics/gimp prefers base fontconfig to pkg and fails

That's why I stopped using Xorg from xsrc :)

It's a usual message when you have both. Try installing something
Xorg-dependent having X installed from xsrc.

As for the problem: hardcode the path maybe?
