Can some 8.0_RC1 compiled packages crash on 8.0_RC2?

Giving netsurf as an example, but crashes are happening on some other
packages also.

The packages were compiled on amd64 8.0_RC1, where they work fine.

The below errors occur on a NetBSD 8.0_RC2 amd64 running as a virtualbox
guest, with host being Linux.

The X11 display of Linux is forwarded to the guest over ssh.

(Directly setting display to host's ip is not working somehow, xhost
setting on host is alright, may be virtualbox is blocking x11.)

Which factor do these errors appear relate with (virtualbox? forwarded
x11? RC1 vs RC2? other?)
