Re: sysutils/lsof stopped working for non-root user
I personally don't care much; while I can admit to using it from time to time (and recompiling it whenever osabi changes, as I usually run -current), I try to think about a scenario whereby a non-root user is expected to use it, perhaps in a script not under his control. It kinda seems logical and proper to still let a non-priviledged user have the knowledge of which file descriptors have been opened by his use of the system, even from the point of view of security (i.e. some sort of keylogger collecting his precious keystrokes, perhaps a stupid example).

I think it is unexpected, but maybe intended. I need to examine why it fails.
