Still no joy:

# pwd
/usr/pkgsrc/databases/ldb
# cvs diff -urHEAD

It was already using python 3.7 (as per
ERROR:         /tmp/pkgsrc/databases/ldb/work/.destdir/usr/pkg/lib/python3.7/site-packages/_tdb_text.py
)

but you're right about tdb:

=> Full dependency tdb>=1.0.6nb2: found tdb-1.4.0

Checking for system tdb (>=1.3.18)                 : not found


I'll try building outside of pbulk to look for clues...
