FreeBSD, and by extension DragonFly, gets around this by building it
without PaleMoon branding (as "New Moon").  I'm not sure how much help
the maintainer has from upstream or how much success they've had
submitting patches - probably not a lot.  Regardless, it's still in the
ports tree and actively maintained.
