Re: Pkg_comp bug?
Hmmm, given that the script specifically applies this “e’ code ONLY when it’s running on NetBSD then it seems pkg_comp has a portability issue that it won’t run out of the box on a NetBSD 9.0 system. And given that the “e” option only appears to shortcut the sandbox creation process if tar detects an extraction error, that would seem to make it a bug — at the very least, something that needs to be looked at if pkg_comp is going to work on NetBSD moving forward.
