You're not alone, I'm seeing the same build failure with PDFium. In my
case, on 9.99.17 from a couple of weeks ago. I also have Java disabled
in the build options, and I have cups enabled. (But I can't imagine how
either could be affecting this, offhand.) What I did for now is revert
all of that change set, except for the Python 3.8 blacklisting bit.
With that, LibreOffice built and runs fine.
