I just got

[20/20] Starting build of  glib2-2.60.6
[20/20] Successfully built glib2-2.60.6

for a 2019Q3 pkgsrc pbulk build on -current/amd64 (so e.g. the sandbox 
contained gcc 8.3) The packages built to get to glib2 were:
