I understand that very well ;-)
But this is not the place to discuss, direct comments at mozilla directly.
A pkgsrc firefox should be as close to upstream builds as possible, unless
pkgsrc options are used to make it different by choice.

I should have said: in all setups I am in controll of the local DNS it was
easy to work around (see above) and I explicitly informed users about
this. Most did not care (or understand), a few were very happy about the
"global" disabling.
And I was happy as I did not have to touch tens of my own setups plus push
users to double check theirs.
