pkgdb migration fallout.
Firsts a positive. With the new backwards compatibility changes The
system no carries on without a hitch or any sort of error even if no
steps have been made to move the package database from the old /var/db
location. A pkgin upgrade run ran perfectly with everything upgraded as
it should be.
However pkg_admin audit throws up the following:
# pkg_admin audit
pkg_admin: Cannot open /usr/pkg/pkgdb/pkg-vulnerabilities: No such file
or directory
Now I know I can just download the file to that location but my concern
is will that break the compatibility with the fact that my package db is
still in /var/db/pkg?
Or should I create some symlinks to avoid problems?
