$ which bmake
/usr/pkg/bin/bmake
$ echo $PATH
/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/root/bin:/usr/pkg/bin

PATH looks okay.
By the way, bootstrap installed bmake only.

$ ls /usr/pkg/bin
bmake
$

By the way, my system compiler is clang and I don't have gcc installed.
