Thanks for the pointer - good suggestion. I'd already rebuilt x11-links to
the latest version though. 

I can see that the libXfixes links don't get installed for some reason and
I'm a bit unsure if/how they ever get installed (see my other reply to
wiz@). In the case of libXtst, I'm sure one possible fix would be to add a
dependency on x11/libXfixes, but I'm not sure if that's correct?
