OK. I will wait for another week or so, maybe somebody else has
additional comments. Looks like mef@ has worked on this in the past.

What still looks ugly is the ISL integration:
It is similar to that in "lang/gcc10", but uses the same version as
"math/isl". Is there a reason why "math/isl" has no "inplace.mk" file
similar to gmp/mpc/mpfr?
