No, I get empty lines; here were no variables set for these packages
in /etc/mk.conf. If I add to the latter the lines

USE_BUILTIN.libXfont2=yes
USE_BUILTIN.libXft=yes

I do get the above, of course, but still I get:

❯ make
=> Bootstrap dependency digest>=20211023: found digest-20220214
ERROR: This package has set PKG_SKIP_REASON:
ERROR: Package set is using native X11 component
*** Error code 1

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/x11/libXfont2

And the same for libXft.
