Version 2.7 was dropped due to the reasons already pointed out.
But, I see version 3.5 is the latest and it's Qt5 based.

Had a quick look at the Arch package. If I can trust it, it requires qt5-qtwebkit which per se is a security concern.
Anyway, the point is the Qt4 days are gone and it didn't come back to FreeBSD.
