FWIW the current rust-1.60 also bombs with external llvm (the
current default setting) on NetBSD 8.2 amd64. This began after the
llvm-14 update. I won't bother changing anything if a rust update is
pending soon. I have suspicion it can be fixed with GCC_REQD+=7,
but don't know what other horrible side effects that might have.
