You mean „remove all packages from the system and start anew“? But
then this system was set up fresh and also the pkgsrc tree was
pristine. As time permits, i will try a complete new build during the
next days and see if that persists.
If the packages on your system were built by someone else (e.g. you
installed some NetBSD binary packages as part of the install process),
or by yourself prior to changing PREFER_PKGSRC, then yes, you'll need to
rebuild any of the affected packages.
If you make significant changes like PREFER_PKGSRC=yes then it's
probably simpler to just bootstrap to a different prefix.
