Looks like firefox-114.0.1/widget/gtk/moz.build has

if CONFIG["MOZ_WAYLAND"]:
    DIRS += ["wayland", "mozwayland", "vaapitest"]

So you may need to add a conditional to the PLIST for that to build :)
