This is actually a hard problem. I probably need an earlier compiler
to bootstrap with (Apple's GCC 4.2, perhaps). Then it's probably
possible to build GCC 4.9, that's the latest I've seen in use on
Darwin/ppc. To accomplish this, some older compilers need to be
re-imported to pkgsrc.
