The pkgsrc developers are proud to announce the 84th quarterly release
of pkgsrc, the cross-platform packaging system.  pkgsrc contains over
26,200 packages, with varying support across 23 distinct operating
systems.  More information on pkgsrc itself is available at
https://www.pkgsrc.org/

Since the pkgsrc-2024Q2 release, 128 packages were added, 1505
packages were updated (with 2307 updates, including language-specific
updates: 32 Go, 125 Perl, 12 PHP, 778 Python, 192 Ruby). 40 packages
were removed.

The count is lower than in previous quarters because by default,
Python modules are no longer built for Python 3.8 and 3.9.

For the 2024Q3 release we welcome the following notable package
