The scenario is that I work for a systems integrator and we are getting requests from our smaller customers to provide a mailserver solution that can compete with the microsoft products and be more reliable in the field where the IT skills are not as solid.

This is all good and well, but the exact same customers insist in using microdoft products to interact with the mailserver and we all know how sensitive these products are to current breed of malicious code out there.

Hence the requirement for an anti virus product - these days I see an anti virus offering more of a service, with the frequent updates that is required, than just a software product.

I'll look at MailMonitor versus the Anti-Virus, don't know which one will suit better. The question was more to determine if it is worthwhile to investigate further.
