nearly all log i've seen on the web today stop at "(II) XINPUT:"..
given the last line, containing vgaHWGetIOBase:
(II) Keyboard "Implicit Core Keyboard" handled by legacy driver
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Implicit Core Pointer" (type: MOUSE)
Fatal server error:
Caught signal 10. Server aborting
When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log".
Please report problems to xfree86@xfree86.org.
(II) TRIDENT(0): vgaHWGetIOBase: hwp->IOBase is 0x03d0, hwp->PIOOffset is 0x0000

convert XF86Setup's XF86Config to xf86cfg's XF86Config..
