Is it?  I know the aac driver is in that supports the Adaptec based Dell PERC 
controllers but I didn't notice support for the AMI ones and when I tried 
loading install floppies from a 1.5ZC snapshot from a few weeks ago on a 1550
I got this:

vendor 0x101e product 0x1960 (RAID mass storage, revision 0x20) at pci4 dev 0
 function 0 not configured
