Way off topic, but, just curious as to the results of discussions 2 weeks
   ago about dissolving the sparc64 port and syncing it back up with the
   sparc port?
   
   I take it, based on your response, that that will not be happening?


this is an on-going effort that will slowly happen.  basically, more and
more sources will be shared between sparc & sparc64 as time goes by,
lessening the shared maintenence efforted as it goes on...
