every framebuffer which needs some control interface has it's own
[name]config in Solaris. name is usually short name of the card (which
is also used as a device name), e.g. ZX and Turbo ZX cards are known as
leo and the utility is called leoconfig. same with other cards, ffb
(Creator, Creator 3D) -> ffbconfig, m64 (PGX24/32/64) -> m64config,
AG-10E -> ag10config, to name a few.

if we go this way i think it would be better to have only one utility
with device (model) selection switch, e.g. fbctl to follow the naming
convention.  for example:

  fbctl -t ffb -d /dev/ffb0 -r 1280x1024x76

would set Creator card which is on /dev/ffb0 to 1280x1024 76Hz. -t
stands for type (or maybe -m for model?), -d for device and -r for
resolution.
