hi, i try out netbsd 1.6 on an ultra5 machine.

following troubles occur:

root is mountend on root_device, not on /dev/wd0a,
so i did a
mount -u /
at top of /etc/rc.

how do i fix this in a smarter way?

i cant get into dev config mode with -c
openfirmware shows the boot params i pass,
but the kernel seems to ignore them.

any suggestions?

when startind init:

init: Creating mfs /dev
chgrp: not found (many times)
set{u,g}id pid 238 (df) was invoked by uid 0 ppid 237 (sh) with fd 0
closed (also many times)

thats wrong here? path?
